Check out Devon's floating homeland. About 30 minutes from Downtown Bath, enjoy a walk around where Devon grew up. If you drive to the end, notice the "Road Ends 500 Feet" sign, which is just before where she caught the school bus each morning. Further, you'll see Land's End, the family giftshop. Make sure you go in, say hi to the crew, and find the most "Maine" gifts for your friends and family. Devon's family has been residing down here since the 50's. After skipping rocks on the beach and trying some of Aunt Karen's amazing fudge, you could have lunch on the deck at Cook's on Garrison Cove Road. Devon's favorite drink here comes with lemon rock candy and a sprig of mint. Connor enjoyed his first Maine lobster roll here, hot and buttered.
Enjoy a stroll down this historic little road along the Kennebec River. You can walk right on the water through the riverside park, or poke in and out of the many adorable store fronts on Front Street. Devon's favorite is probably Lisa Marie's or Reny's for funny odds and ends, a "Maine Adventure." Cafe Creme or Mae's Cafe have the best coffee and treats!
