Things To Do

Welcome to Maine! We hope that you take the time to relax, explore, and enjoy this beautiful part of the Maine Coast. Whether you are staying in Bath, Georgetown, or you live here, we wanted to provide a few of our favorite spots to check out if you find the time.

Bailey Island

Harpswell, ME 04003

Check out Devon's floating homeland. About 30 minutes from Downtown Bath, enjoy a walk around where Devon grew up. If you drive to the end, notice the "Road Ends 500 Feet" sign, which is just before where she caught the school bus each morning. Further, you'll see Land's End, the family giftshop. Make sure you go in, say hi to the crew, and find the most "Maine" gifts for your friends and family. Devon's family has been residing down here since the 50's. After skipping rocks on the beach and trying some of Aunt Karen's amazing fudge, you could have lunch on the deck at Cook's on Garrison Cove Road. Devon's favorite drink here comes with lemon rock candy and a sprig of mint. Connor enjoyed his first Maine lobster roll here, hot and buttered.

Front Street, Bath

Front Street, Bath, ME 04530

Enjoy a stroll down this historic little road along the Kennebec River. You can walk right on the water through the riverside park, or poke in and out of the many adorable store fronts on Front Street. Devon's favorite is probably Lisa Marie's or Reny's for funny odds and ends, a "Maine Adventure." Cafe Creme or Mae's Cafe have the best coffee and treats!

Mae's Cafe & Bakery

160 Centre Street, Bath, ME 04530
, (207) 442-8577

Breakfast anyone? If you want a brunch to dream about for the rest of your life - look no further. Mimosas, pancakes, stuffed french toast, and need I say, endless amounts of maple syrup and coffee? If you want a breakfast that will keep you filled until dinner, this is the place.

Byrnes Irish Pub

38 Centre Street, Bath, ME 04530
, (207) 443-6776

In non-covid times, this place had the BEST trivia nights. They still have great lunches and dinner though for those looking for hearty fare. A go to is the Shipwreck sandwich.

Maine Street, Brunswick

Maine Street, Brunswick, ME 04011

On your way to Bath from the airport, stop off in Brunswick. Here you will find the BEST donuts in Maine at Frosty's, cute home goods at the Hatch or Nest, and flavorful chicken tikka masala at Shere Punjab. Enjoy the grounds of Bowdoin College or just Park Row and the line of homes built by the Skolfield family in the 1800's.

Bolos Kitchen, Cantina & Candlepin

7 Dunlap Street, Brunswick, ME 04011
, (207) 725-5241

Need a drink? Want something *super* New England to do? Go to Bolo's have a marg, and enjoy some candlepin bowling. This is not to be mistaken with for duck pin bowling. It is very different, the biggest difference is that this is way better.

Reid State Park

375 Seguinland Road, Georgetown, ME 04548
, (207) 371-2303

Just a mile and half past the wedding venue, Reid State Park showcases Maine's natural beauty.

L.L.Bean

95 Main Street, Freeport, ME 04032
, (877) 755-2326

We can't not recommend the mecca of Maine, L.L. Bean. See where it all started in their flagship store, and the catalogs you used to receive come to life.

For all the days along the way
