Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Devon Cameron and Chase Sherron
Downtown McKinney is one of our favorite spots and it's a perfect area to kill some time just wandering around the shops. We've listed a few of our favorites and this is the area we'll be in the night before the wedding and after the reception.

Lone Star Winery

103 East Virginia Street, McKinney, TX 75069

This is our ABSOLUTE favorite place. It has fabulous, locally made wine and is such a fun spot. They have live music and Dee and Mo are awesome. If you see them, let them know you're here for our wedding... the day we booked our venue we told them all about it, and this was Devon's favorite spot to come while Chase was in Columbia.

Antique Company Mall

213 East Virginia Street, McKinney, TX 75069

This is a huge antique mall with thousands of items throughout their two story warehouse. It's a fun place to go treasure hunting but be warned... you might get lost!

LAYERED

111 East Virginia Street, McKinney, TX 75069

This is a fantastic brunch spot- great mimosas and the food is classic breakfast fare.

Roy & Helen Hall Memorial Library

101 East Hunt Street, McKinney, TX 75069

This is the bride's local library! Most Friday's she'll head over, return her books from the week before, pick a new one, and head over to Lone Star to read at the bar. Yes, she is a nerd. Nerds have more fun than regular people. This is a scientifically proven fact:)

Habitat Coffee + Plants

214 North Kentucky Street, McKinney, TX 75069

Are you in need of caffeine? Are you also looking for a new houseplant? We know just the spot! Also try the homemade pop tarts, you will not be sorry.

Arcade 92 Retro Arcade, Bar and Restaurant

305 East Virginia Street, McKinney, TX 75069

Whether you need a drink or you feel the urge to put your gaming skills to the test playing Donkey Kong this is a great spot! Entry is $12 but it's free play, no quarters needed.

Historic McKinney Farmers Market at Chestnut Square

315 South Chestnut Street, McKinney, TX 75069

Saturday morning there's a Farmer's Market pretty close to downtown (although it is a bit of a walk) and it's always worth a stop. There's a vendor that makes fresh squeezed orange juice and lemonade in front of you and tons of food vendors if you're peckish.

Urban Grill and Wine Bar McKinney

218 East Louisiana Street, McKinney, TX 75069

This is a great spot for a nice dinner and a fancy cocktail! The food is phenomenal and the ambiance is unmatched.

Legacy West

5908 Headquarters Drive, Plano, TX 75024

Legacy West is a high end shopping center with tons of great restaurants out in Plano (about 30 minutes from downtown). There's a food hall with amazing food and a wine bar, Earl's is our favorite spot for an espresso martini, and Toulouse has great brunch!

Sugarbacon Proper Kitchen

216 West Virginia Street, McKinney, TX 75069

Two words: Mimosa. Flights.

neighbor books

208 East Louisiana Street, McKinney, TX 75069

Amazing little local bookshop... has seating for partners of bookworms so the aforementioned bookworms can browse without annoying their counterparts:)
