Charleston International Airport (CHS) is easy to navigate and is a 30 minute drive from Folly Beach with normal traffic.

If you're planning to stay a few days and/or want to explore all that Charleston has to offer, renting a car at the airport is the best way to get around! If you'd prefer to use rideshare services, Uber and Lyft are both available in the area.

North Charleston / Airport - Charleston International Airport (CHS) sits right in the middle of the North Charleston region, with many nearby hotel options allowing for easy travel. - Approximately 40 minutes from Folly Beach - Approximately 20 minutes from Downtown Charleston Folly Beach - This will be the location of the ceremony & reception. There are many hotels & Airbnbs right on Folly Island with easy access to the beach & several shops and restaurants. - Folly Island is a barrier island with surfing, a maritime forest, and the Morris Island Lighthouse. - Approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Charleston Downtown Charleston (The Historic Peninsula) - The Charleston Peninsula is a historic area with many notable features including historic architecture, cobblestone streets, and private gardens. - Downtown Charleston is one of the Southeast's best shopping districts, known for local boutiques, fine art, and antiques, as well as being home to the College of Charleston. It's also home to sand dunes, marshes, and abundant wildlife. - Approximately 45 minutes from Folly Beach John's Island - Home to the famous Angel Oak tree, a 400-500 year old Southern live oak tree. It's also know for its farms and proximity to downtown Charleston. - Approximately 30 minutes from Folly Beach James Island - Bordered by the waters of the Charleston Harbor, Stono, and Folly Rivers, and the marshlands of the Lowcountry, this island offers plenty of tours and outdoor recreational opportunities. - Approximately 15 minutes from Folly Beach Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms (Mt.
