Q + A

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

To ensure a relaxed start to the ceremony, we recommend arriving at least a 10 minutes before the ceremony. The ceremony will be held on the beach behind the pavilion, so allow yourself a few extra minutes to enter the park via the gate attendant, walk over from your car, and settle in to your seat for the ceremony. Take a moment to enjoy the stunning views, wonderful company, and soothing music before we begin. Additionally, traffic heading onto Folly can be quite heavy, as there's only one road on and off the island. If you're traveling from off the island, we recommend arriving early to avoid any stress. If you find yourself with extra time, there are plenty of great bars and restaurants to enjoy, or you can take a drive around the island and see why we love Folly Beach!

Question

Can we park at the venue?

Answer

Yes! If you are driving, free parking is available at the venue. Enter through the right side of the park gate and let the attendant know you are with the Hampton wedding. No overnight parking is allowed inside the park. If the lot is full when you arrive, there are street spots available all around nearby as well as a paid lot just east of the venue for added convenience. *All four tires must be off the pavement when parking along a street in order to avoid a ticket* For guests joining us for at Bounty Bar for the after party, there are public parking options near Center Street as well.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code is "beach formal". We suggest lighter colors or breathable fabrics like linen or seersucker. While ties and bow ties are fun and encouraged, they’re optional! Elevated maxi dresses, midi-dresses, and jumpsuits are perfect choices. Feel free to embrace bright or fun colors if you'd like for a fun spring night by the beach. We kindly ask that guests avoid all-black attire, jeans, and shorts. To ensure everyone enjoys a comfortable evening, please keep in mind that our celebration will take place outside across sand, grass, and hard surfaces.

Question

Are guests invited to bring children?

Answer

Due to the nature of our celebration and venue, we kindly request that all guests be 21 years of age or older. We deeply appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to enjoy a fun, relaxing evening together as we celebrate with you.

Question

How and when should I RSVP?

Answer

You can RSVP anytime directly on this website under the RSVP tab before February 21st, 2025. Responses help us coordinate with our vendors, so we kindly ask that you RSVP as soon as you know you're coming (or not)! Thank you in advance!
