Yes, you can. On our guest list, we have accounted for your families. When you RSVP, let us know who from your household is coming, so we have an accurate head count for our caterer.
If your invitation is addressed to you "and guest," then you are more than welcome to bring a date. When you RSVP, let us know if you are. (And give us their name so we can make a place card.)
Yes, we do, at the Embassy Suites Brea. The rate is $169 to sleep four and $199 to sleep six. See the "Travel" tab for details.
Our ceremony will begin at 6:30pm, so please give yourselves time to park and make the (short) walk over to our ceremony site.
We'd love it if you dressed up for us! Suits are welcome, as are Indian attire, cocktail attire and business casual. (The weather gods predict a low of 70 in Orange County on August 10, so fingers crossed that we'll all be comfortable.)
We are not serving alcohol at our wedding. But Downtown Fullerton is hopping on a Friday night, and last call in California is at 2am for those who want to head out for drinks after the reception.
For those who observe halal, we will be serving seafood. For those who are vegetarian or vegan or have allergies, let us know when you RSVP and we'll make sure our caterer can accommodate you.
Yes! The bride loves her hip-hop and Bollywood, but we'd also like to get your input on music. When you RSVP, give us a list of a few songs you'd like to hear (whatever the genre).
We'd prefer if you didn't because with so much running around, we're sure to lose track of things. More than anything, we want the pleasure of your company on our special day. But for those who want to send gifts, our Amazon registry should allow you to mail gifts directly to Devin's house.
In Islamic culture, the valima (or "walima") is a reception usually hosted by the groom's family after the wedding day. My family considers this an important tradition, so we, along with the Kreiders, will be co-hosting a dinner at D'Vine Restaurant in Downtown Fullerton. (Due to space constraints, we're sorry that this event is for family only.)
