We met while we were both working at Handyman Hardware in Florissant, in June of 2010. We were officially dating by July, and living together not long after that. The foolishness of youth caused us to break up in January of 2012. We both married others, but never really forgot each other, even when Devin moved to Portland in 2015. In June of 2022 we reconnected on Instagram. Even thousands of miles apart, the electricity was strong. We talked and texted everyday, and in October of 2022, Devin moved back to St. Louis. We knew instantly that mistakes were made 10 years prior, and that we were meant to be together. He proposed on my birthday of 2024.
