Devin and Orion's story began in the fall of 2019 in Chicago, IL. Their paths had crossed in Arizona during their college years, where they attended rival universities, but they didn't officially meet until they both returned to the Midwest. Having followed each other on Instagram, it wasn't long before they realized both had moved to Chicago and went on their first date. Over margaritas, they connected over being Midwesterners, Arizona alums, lovers of lakes and snow, passionate about health, wellness, and being close with family. Little did they know they had found their lifelong partner on the first date. When Chicago shut down due to COVID, that didn't stop them from enjoying all the city has to offer—tennis, rollerblading, exploring neighborhoods, and trying new restaurants. In the summer of 2022, job opportunities led them to Minnesota near Lake Minnetonka, where Orion grew up. In the fall of 2022, they adopted Odin, a Goldendoodle, from a local rescue. In September 2023, on a Wayzata dock overlooking Lake Minnetonka, Orion surprised Devin during a sunset, asking her to spend the rest of their lives together, surrounded by both their families who had flown in to celebrate. Their journey into forever began on a boat, sailing into the sunset with glasses raised. Devin and Orion eagerly anticipate a life filled with love and endless adventures!
