Tintoque
Fine dining at its best with inventive dishes—seriously, some of the tastiest we've ever had. This one is Deva's favorite when it comes to flavors and food.
La Palapa Restaurant
Touristy but a classic in Puerto Vallarta. Enjoy a delicious meal while sitting right on the beach. Try to go during sunset!
La Bodeguita del Medio Vallarta
Head here for the best salsa dancing with live music! Drinks and Cuban eats are available, but the main attraction is definitely the music and dancing.

From the outside, it looks like a regular house with a cute door—but inside, you'll find a meal to die for! The food here is top-notch at a reasonable price.
Hacienda San Angel
Curious to see Richard Burton's former home in PV, where he famously rekindled his romance with Elizabeth Taylor, who lived just a few blocks away? Check this place out! Beyond its fascinating history, it’s also one of the most beautiful and romantic spots in PV. It’s a bit touristy, but worth a visit!

This is one of the many tequila shops that offers tastings, and it carries our favorite mezcal—Dixeebe! We even visited the palenque in Oaxaca where the maestro mezcalero, or mezcal master, crafts it. Not a mezcal fan? Don't worry—they've got varieties of tequila and raicilla to try out as well!
Tequilera Hacienda Nogalito
A tequila tasting spot in PV - this one is closest to PF! We haven't been but you can't go wrong. Be sure to try Raicilla, a traditional Mexican agave spirit similar to tequila and mezcal, produced in the mountain and coastal regions around Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, and is known for its unique flavor and small-scale production.
