Destiny & Irvin

Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Destiny Marquez and Irvin Nasseri
We're so excited you're here to celebrate Destiny and Irvin's love in none other than the City of Brotherly Love! Be sure to check out some of our favorite spots while you're here!

Rittenhouse Square

Philadelphia, PA

This is one of Philadelphia’s most iconic and picturesque neighborhoods. The park itself in the center is beautifully adorned with fountains, benches, sculptures, and ample grass for a lovely picnic in the city.

Art Museum

Philadelphia, PA 19130

Great for art enthusiasts but really, you just want to run up the Rocky steps and take a picture with the Rocky Balboa statue! It's an essential to-do when visiting the city.

Reading Terminal Market

1136 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107

This is a famous indoor farmer's market with over 80 food stalls. Great food from vendors within Philadelphia and other areas! You can get many gems here that you won't find elsewhere. Bonus is that it's near your hotel and the venue.

Gilda

300 East Girard Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19125

When we miss Portugal, this cafe in Fishtown transports us right back to Lisbon with their delicious pasteles de nata and their authentic Portuguese food. Fun fact: This is the cafe that Irvin is standing outside of with his coffee.

JFK Plaza (Love Park)

1501 John F Kennedy Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19102

Be sure to snap a photo with the LOVE sculpture!

Spruce Street Harbor Park

301 South Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19106

A colorful, summer-vibe waterfront oasis on the Delaware River! Perfect in the summer and for hanging out near the water! Be sure to walk South Street too!

Shank's Original

901 South Christopher Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19147

This is one of Irvin's favorite places to get a cheesesteak. Be adventurous and grab the cheesesteak with scrapple!

Dalessandro's Steaks

600 Wendover Street, Philadelphia, PA 19128

This is a bit of a drive but Irvin and Destiny never miss their chance to grab a Delassandro's cheesesteak before heading back home. We would highly recommend you do the same before leaving the beautiful city.

The Mütter Museum at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia

19 South 22nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103

If you're in medicine or genuinely just love the history of medicine and ailments, this museum of medical history will intrigue you! This museum helps the public understand the mysteries and beauty of the human body and to appreciate the history of diagnosis and treatment of disease. I've only been about 8 times.
