Irvin, from Ohio, and Destiny, from Philadelphia, met on December 11, 2019 at a pre-interview dinner for a residency program in NYC. They sat across from each other, chatted about life, shared a panna cotta, and strolled the Upper East Side late at night as Irvin walked Destiny to her hotel. The next day, after a long day of interviews, as luck would have it, Irvin's next pre-interview dinner was not only in Philadelphia, but AT DESTINY'S MEDICAL SCHOOL. Their adventure continued as he drove her back to Philadelphia, they shared Sweet Tart Ropes, a parking ticket, and a bowl of ramen before departing ways. That certainly was not the end of their story and they kept in touch for the next few months until, eventually, they both matched in New York City for residency and were able to continue their love story in person. Six years later, they're still enjoying that same panna cotta at the place they met. It was destiny and Destiny was #DestinedForNasseri.
