What colors should I wear?

Answer

Knowing Rachel and James this is a moody wedding. We suggest you wear dark colors and deep jewel-tones, if you want to fit the vibe.

How do I book a room?

Answer

Call 850.424.4400 You may book under: "Mitchell Wedding." Wedding Events: September 23, 2021 - September 26, 2021 Guests wishing to arrive a day earlier than events or stay a day longer will receive a special rate. August 20, 2021 is the expiration date of our special block of rooms. Please call and reserve before August 20, 2021.

How much food and drinks will I get?

Great question! We have a welcome party with cocktails & food at the resort pool side bar, rehearsal dinner, wedding reception, and a boozy brunch Sunday Morning! Please refer back to schedule page for further details.

Am I free to come and go as I please?

Answer

We want you to have a relaxing time and take advantage of fun in the sun! We only ask that you please attend our few scheduled events.

Am I invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Yes, we love you. Since our wedding has been scaled back to a smaller size, if you made the trek to Destin. You get an extra meal and cocktails on us! :)

Is there any other activities around the resort?

Answer

Yes! You can reserve kayak's, paddle boards and bikes. But, most importantly some family will be creating their own events that you may attend, such as yoga Friday morning on the beach and Golf on Saturday Morning.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #rachgotmitched so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

If you are family, absolutely! Otherwise, We love your kids—we really do. But, we want our wedding to be your time off!
