When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would like to have all RSVP's in by May 5, 2021.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Beachy semi-formal. We want you to be comfortable so we highly recommend wearing light colored clothing and light fabrics due to the Florida heat.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "add guest" then yes, if not we would prefer if it was just you as we are limited on our guest count.

Is the ceremony and reception at different locations?

Answer

Yes and no! There will be no additional driving once you show up. The ceremony will be held on the beach across the street from where the reception will be held. The reception will be held in the ballroom of the Embassy Suites Hotel.

Where should I park?

Answer

There will be on site parking. The Embassy Suites is allowing all of our guest to use their parking lot.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have arranged blocked rooms for our guests. See the “Travel” tab for more information.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5:30 p.m. so we recommend getting there by 5 p.m. to get settled (and enjoy the beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico).

Can I use my phone to take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

While we appreciate you wanting to document our big day, we ask that you refrain from using your phones during the ceremony as we will have a hired photographer and videographer to capture these moments. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take, post, and tag your pictures on social media with the hashtag #DestintobeMcGowens
