Honolulu Zoo lies right in the heart of Waikiki, where you can discover a diverse array of animals from around the world. Sea Life Park is a marine mammal park, bird sanctuary, and aquarium with sweeping ocean views tucked beneath the stunning Ko'olau Mountains. Our favorite attractions include feeding the sea turtles, watching the dolphin show, visiting the sea lions, and feeding the birds!

Waimanalo Country Farms is a little gem nestled in the scenic countryside of Oahu's eastern coast. It's a real working farm that opens to the public during special events, like the Fall Harvest Festival, so be sure to check their calendar! We love their homemade lemonade and cornbread, cute farm animals, and panoramic views of the Koʻolau mountains.
This serene temple is nestled in the lush Valley of the Temples Memorial Park. Modeled after a 900-year-old temple in Japan, this peaceful site offers an escape with its beautiful architecture, gardens, and ponds. We love to feed the sea turtles, birds, and koi fish!
Our favorite weekly tradition! Hilton Hawaiian Village puts on a free, 5 minute fireworks display on the beach every Friday night beginning at 8pm. The best spot to sit is near Port Hilton. We love to catch the fireworks each Friday, followed by an ice cream run to Dave’s at The Illikai. If you’re around after the wedding, feel free to grab a towel and join us!
Located right near our wedding venue, the Ko Olina Marina is O'ahu’s only private deep-draft marina. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including boat charters, fishing excursions, snorkeling, and sunset cruises. The marina is also home to some great dining options and shops!

For something more challenging, check out Koko Crater (Kyle’s favorite and an extreme version of the Stairmaster). Other spots we've done include Makapu’u Lighthouse Trail (Ellie’s favorite), Lanikai Pillbox, and Manoa Falls. We suggest always hiking with others, and make sure to bring plenty of water.
There's no shortage of beaches in O'ahu. If we just want to relax, our favorites are Lanikai, Kailua, and Kahala beaches. For more fun, we love Waimea Beach, White Plains Beach, Waimanalo Bay, Electric Beach, and Hanauma Bay. Our other top picks include Kahanamoku, Makapu’u, and Waikiki beaches.
