Can I bring a date to the reception?

Answer

Yes--everyone is welcome! Please be sure you both RSVP as soon as possible so we can plan refreshments accordingly.

Are kids welcome?

Yes! Please bring your kids--we would love to have them!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Rexburg is typically pretty warm during this time of year! 88 degrees is the projected high of July, but should be around 74 degrees on average. Keep in mind, we will be partying into the early evening, so you may want to have a light layer or two for the car-ride home.

Where should I park?

Answer

There is plenty of free parking in front of the barn. We will have people outside assisting with helping you know where to park. Please be mindful of trying not to block cars in and of not taking more vehicles than you need! Coordinate a carpool with others when possible.

What should I wear?

Answer

Please dress formally. Pastels and colors are encouraged!

Is the reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

It will be a bit of both, as the venue has barn doors that open up to the outside!

What kind of shoes should/shouldn't I wear?

Answer

Emalee's Barn, when not being used for weddings, is also a ranching property! This should not affect how dirty your shoes get, as the venue property itself is clean and reserved for renting out, but if you are worried about it, wear shoes you aren't worried about keeping sparkly clean.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the reception?

Answer

Yes! We would love if you shared your photos with us after the reception. However, we will have a photographer, so don't worry too much about taking lots of pictures.
