The Official "I Do" Portion of the Day

Due to the location of the ceremony, we are unable to have amplified sound or seating - but don't worry! We've come up with a creative solution! Just please keep in mind, you will be standing outside with the elements. We recommend bringing an umbrella (for sun OR rain... but hopefully just sun), and a comfortable pair of shoes (Ladies, rock those wedges or a nice Summer sandal).

Max and Desiree met in China... so what's more appropriate (and more New York) than Chinese Food??? China Blue is a unique and beautiful restaurant fashioned after 1930's Shanghai, located in the Tribeca area of Manhattan. We'll be providing wine and beer, as well as hors d'oeuvres for guests in a private area we have reserved for the reception. DIRECTIONS: Take the A/C or the 1 train to Canal Street. The area can be a little confusing - but you want to walk North/West up Canal Street to Watts and make a left. It's less than a 5 minute walk from the station.

The Roxy is within walking distance of China Blue, has a swanky vintage vibe, and live music in the lounge! We've reserved booth seating, but it's an open space with bar seating and plenty of space. For those that want to continue on with us, we'll be heading over to continue the celebration.
