Question

What precautions are you taking related to COVID-19?

Answer

We are taking every precaution that we can to ensure a safe event. We will need your help though. 1) We strongly encourage everyone to get tested prior to attending, and of course if you test positive or have any symptoms, we request that you do not join in person. 2) Any event that can take place outside will, including the ceremony and reception. Weather permitting, the venue doors will be open and limited seating outdoors will be available. 3) Masks and social distancing are encouraged, and hand sanitizer will be available at every table. 4) We are creating a seating chart to allow for extra distance during dinner. If at any point you do not feel comfortable attending, please know that we completely respect that decision and just ask that you inform us as soon as possible. We just want everyone in attendance to be comfortable and have a good time.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by October 1, 2020 as we need to provide a final headcount to the venue close to that date.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony is scheduled to start promptly at 5:30pm, so arriving around 5:00pm should give you time to grab a glass of wine, explore the grounds, and choose a seat.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is plenty of parking available for the ceremony and the venue will have an attendant directing traffic. Uber is a great alternative to driving and tends to be readily available in Dahlonega.

Question

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

Traveling to Frogtown from Atlanta Travel north on HGWY 400 until it ends. At the light at the end of State Road 400 (stay in right lane) go straight and continue on a 2 lane road named Long Branch Rd, at the traffic light continue straight onto Copper Mine Rd. Turn left when it dead ends into Cavender Creek Rd, turn right (sharp turn)after 1.1 mile onto Town Creek Church Rd. After 4.3 miles it dead ends, turn left into Damascus Church Rd. Look after 1 mile on your left, the winery is the light gray building on the left 100 yards up Ridge Point Drive. Approximate travel time from Buckhead is 1h.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome to attend; however I would note that the venue has several high balconies so younger children should be careful.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

The most important thing is to have you with us on our special day. No gifts are needed or expected, however if you do wish to give us something we have a honeymoon fund through Zola; and are also registered at Zola, Wayfair, and Target (link at the bottom of the registry page).

Question

Who can I contact with questions?

Answer

You can call or text Desiree at 770-878-0787 or Ken at 404-434-9685. We look forward to celebrating with you all!
