When should I RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP for you and each person in your party (if any). We ask you to confirm your attendance by May 1, 2025. However, if you know earlier that you will for sure not be attending then that is appreciated as well so that we can accommodate accordingly.

How many days is the wedding celebration?

Answer

We will have our welcome party on July 25, 2025 and the ceremony and reception on July 26, 2025. Therefore, it is recommended that you plan for a three-four day trip, if possible.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

Augusto Cesar Sandino International Airport. It is in the capital, Managua, and is approximately 45 minutes from Granada.

Question

Is there anything special I need to know about traveling to Nicaragua?

Answer

In order to pass customs once you land in Nicaragua, you need to pay a one-time $10 cash only fee for a travel visa.

Traveling from airport to Granada

Answer

It takes about 40 minutes from the airport. There is no rideshare app in Nicaragua so we recommend contacting Criss Travel via WhatsApp: +505 8246 2336 to take you to Granada.

Where to stay in Granada?

Answer

The city offers a variety of accommodations and properties to choose from. You can choose to stay at Hotel Dario which is the venue where our reception will be held or at Hotel la Merced located which is less than 5 minutes from the reception. Below please find the contact information necessary to be able to make your reservations in a timely manner. Please mention that you are making a reservation in accordance with the Padilla wedding. Where do we meet for the welcome party?

Answer

Transportation will pick you up from in front of Hotel Dario and Hotel La Merced at 2 PM. Please arrive a few minutes early to avoid missing the provided transportation.

What is the dress code for the Welcome Party?

Answer

We ask that all guests wear all white, if possible. If not, men can wear a white top with light khaki bottoms.

What is the dress code for the wedding ceremony/reception?

Answer

The dress code is black tie formal attire. What does that mean? Women should wear floor length gowns. Men wear should wear black tuxedos with a bow tie or suits (if not black then a dark color) with a tie.
