We’ll be spending the morning getting ready, sipping bubbly, and sharing laughs before we walk down the aisle. Each bride will be at her own location with family and friends, enjoying those sweet, once-in-a-lifetime moments. This portion of the day is not mandatory, and space may be limited. If you plan to get ready on your own, you’re welcome to join the brides for first looks and getting-ready photos at 12:00 PM.
12:15 pm - 1:00 pm
If you are getting ready on your own, this is the first event you’ll need to attend, so please plan to arrive on time.
Our photographer will arrive at 12:00 PM for final touches, getting-ready photos, and first-look photos. If you’ve chosen to get ready on your own, please plan to arrive at 12:00 PM to join the brides at their locations for first-look photos and a few candid moments before I do.
1:00 pm - 1:30 pm
Hannah and Desiree will be having a private first look from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM. We kindly ask that you allow them this time to enjoy the moment together. Following the first look, family and group photos will take place at the Mervue Estate from 1:40 PM-2:15 PM.
2:15 pm - 4:15 pm
While Desiree and Hannah take couple portraits at Samuel H. Boardman, Dalton Bain will host a ‘How Well Do You Know the Couple?’ trivia game. This will take place at Crook Point, Mervue. Dalton will have a list of questions about the couple, and the winner of the trivia will be our ring bearer at the wedding, so study up!
4:15 pm - 5:00 pm
If you’re helping set up at the Capella by the Sea location, please plan to leave early to allow enough time to set up flowers between 5:00 PM and 5:20 PM. Desiree and Hannah will reach out directly to those assisting, so no need to worry if you’re unsure whether this applies to you. If you are not helping with setup, please plan to arrive at the venue no later than 5:20 PM, as the ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM.

We’ll begin with a few speeches from the bridal party, followed by dinner service. Enjoy a formal sit-down meal, then get ready—the party begins! Sit back, relax, and let’s toast and celebrate!
