Question

Why am I only invited to one?

Answer

Please don't take it personally, we are keeping both events small and trying to get as many of you in to either one as possible. If you were invited to the US but would rather come to the UK, please contact us!

Question

Colour theme

Answer

We would LOVE if you wore lighter tones of purple, blues and greys to the UK wedding, there is no colour theme for the US

Question

Dresscode - JC

Answer

You do you! The US wedding will be a civil ceremony in the park and then drinks at the beer garden (low key and not black tie) go for spring casual/quirky/trendy! JC is a hipster town. The theme is happy and floral!

Question

Dresscode - UK

Answer

The UK wedding is in July and it will be indian fusion. We encourage you all to wear indian clothes (if you can) but if that's not possible and too much of a faff, then please be comfortable and wear what makes you happy! The henna night is bright and colourful. Here are some useful websites for indian clothes: https://www.mirraw.com/ and https://www.lashkaraa.com/

Question

How do I get to Bredenbury?

Answer

We encourage all of our US fam and friends to carpool from either Birmingham or Heathrow to get to Bredenbury. The train will be much longer, up to 5 hours. It's a very scenic drive through the english countryside. Americans can hire cars in the UK with their US drivers license.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You will see if you have a guest when you RSVP online, Please dont be offended if you didn't get a plus one to our wedding, we only have a 150 person capacity and our families are huge but if you have any questions, please contact us.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes - please email us at kat.desai@gmail.com

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes - there is ample parking at the England wedding and at Zeppelin Hall for the US wedding

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive promptly, 30 mins beforehand for the ceremonies - as per the invitation. They will be starting on time.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as you can please!! But latest by March 1st 2019

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We are generally not having kids at the wedding other than immediate family. Babies in laps is obviously fine but your invite will specify this! Please reach out with questions/requirements.

Question

Where should we stay in London?

Answer

If you are going to do some sightseeing before and after the wedding in the UK, you should definitely see London and we recommend to stay in Zones 1-2. My fave areas are: Shoreditch, Kensington, Chelsea or Covent Garden

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We do not have a gift registry, we don't need any kitchenware... but are saving to go on an adventure trip soon to NZ and want to buy/build an upstate cabin! Any and all contribution is very much appreciated!
