Virgin Atlantic

Negril is located on the western tip of Jamaica, and from Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay, it's approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to 2 hours by car. Norman Manley International Airport (KIN) in Kingston is much further, about a 4-5 hour drive, so MBJ is definitely your best bet for convenience. Generally, the earlier you fly in the week, the cheaper the flight prices tend to be. For example, return trips via Virgin Atlantic from late March (e.g. the 29th) for an 8-day stay in Jamaica are currently starting at £850 (with 23kg luggage).

Connecting Flights

If you're looking for flight savings, consider extending your trip and exploring other locations beforehand! Flying into Jamaica from hubs like Miami, New York, Toronto, or even another Caribbean island might offer similar or even cheaper fares than direct flights solely for the wedding weekend. Please be aware that schedules for smaller US flight companies for April next year are still being released, so connecting flight information may be limited with more options becoming available closer to the date. Flight Prices vary more drastically but would likely start at £700.

Package Holidays

To keep your overall spending down, we also recommend looking into package holidays. We've seen all-inclusive options from TUI for a week's stay, inclusive of our wedding dates (April 2nd to 9th), starting from around £2,000. While all-inclusive resorts have a higher upfront cost, Jamaica can be an expensive destination for daily spending, so these packages offer a super convenient way to manage your budget once you're there.

Travellers Beach Report - Non-all-inclusive (15 minutes from Pattoo): While all-inclusive resorts offer great convenience, for those looking for a potentially more budget-friendly option with greater flexibility, staying in a non-all-inclusive location can be a fantastic alternative. Our top recommendation for this is Travellers Beach Resort. Rooms are currently priced from around £90 per night, offering a comfortable base from which to explore Negril and enjoy the local scene at your leisure.

Uber has recently expanded its services to the area, including Negril. This means you can now use the Uber app to request rides, offering a convenient way to get around during our wedding celebrations.

Shuttle

To and from Wedding Venue
