To ensure you have ample time to settle in and prepare for the festivities, we recommend the following: For Wedding Party Members: We suggest arriving no later than Thursday, April 2nd, 2026. This will allow you plenty of time for any pre-wedding events, rehearsals, and to adjust to the local time. For Guests: We recommend arriving no later than Friday, April 3rd, 2026. This will give you a full day to relax and get ready for the main event on Saturday.
Yes! We will be hosting an optional After Party on Sunday, April 5th, 2026, for all those who wish to extend the celebration. More details about this event will be shared soon.
Most guests will fly into Sangster International Airport (MBJ) in Montego Bay, Jamaica. From Montego Bay, Negril is approximately a 1.5 to 2-hour drive. We recommend pre-booking airport transfers or arranging transportation through your hotel for a smooth journey. Our wedding planner is happy to help all guests with this.
As a British citizen, you do not typically need a visa for tourist stays of up to 90 days in Jamaica. However, please ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your intended departure date. It's always a good idea to check the latest entry requirements with the Jamaican High Commission in London or the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) website closer to your travel date.
The official currency is the Jamaican Dollar (JMD). However, US Dollars (USD) are widely accepted in tourist areas. You can exchange currency at the airport, banks, or hotels. ATMs are also readily available. We would recommend utilising Monzo as the best bank for international travel which provides £200 fee-free withdrawals.
The dress code for our wedding is summer formal attire, while keeping it bright and vibrant. See our 'What to wear ?' page for inspiration. For those who will attend the after party the following day, simply need to be in casual beach attire.
April in Negril generally offers beautiful, warm, and sunny weather, with average temperatures ranging from 25°C to 30°C. It's typically part of the dry season, so you can expect plenty of sunshine and low humidity. However, occasional short rain showers are always possible in tropical climates.
Once we have a good view of everyone's travel arrangements, we can assist with providing this.
Unfortunately we are unable to invite any plus ones to our wedding, but we know some may feel inclined to travel to the Caribbean with others to make more of the experience, which you are more than welcome to do!
Please indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.
