Nick and Deryn met in Manchester, NH when they lived across the hall from each other in their apartment complex. Nick was in his Doctorate program for Physical Therapy at Franklin Pierce University, and Deryn was living in Manchester working in the Public Health field. Nick and Deryn became fast friends, and enjoyed hiking, going on walks, and going on their "Friend Dates". The two stayed in touch when Nick moved back to Michigan after his Doctorate program completed, and they quickly developed a connection unlike any other. Deryn went out to meet Nicks family in the fall of 2021, and the rest was history! After 3.5 years of being long distance, traveling across the country together, and developing a relationship that was full of love, trust, and adventure, Deryn moved to Michigan. Together, they developed Ayres Physical Therapy and Wellness, cared for their little family with their two cats (now four), and followed their passions of helping others. Nick proposed to Deryn on October 13th, 2024, and the two moved into their dream home together in December of 2024. They love their nights together watching tv, going on adventures, reading, and eating popcorn, and can't wait to continue growing their lives together. Deryn and Nick cannot wait to have their favorite people joined together for their wedding day, and they feel so grateful to have such a loving support system in their lives.
