We're getting Married!

We met at the horse track, dressed to enjoy the Derby. Derrick was there for his love of the race and Maya was there to have a good time with friends. Derrick appeared with two cocktails and Maya’s love of cocktails motivated her to make the first move (or at least find out), “where did you get those?!” Derrick was hitting on all cylinders and Maya was noticing. From there the two hit off. Derrick made Maya laugh and Derrick couldn’t resist a woman in a big hat, with a dog in a bag, laughing at his jokes. Maya just needed to know two things…

Maya and Derrick were off to spend a Saturday evening enjoying one of their favorite activities, picnicking. It was a beautiful Seattle summer day, and Alki was showing off. Derrick spread out the blanket and set up the speaker. This picnic was extra special, and Derrick had an important question to ask Maya. With a small box hidden in a wine cup, Derrick asked “do you want to grab the cups?” While he uncorked the wine and Maya pulled out the cups, she realized something was inside. “Is this happening?" Yes! It was a perfect day!
