It's happening!

Both of us had a calling into ministry. Both of us went to school for the same thing. Derrick walked away wanting to continue to pursue a position as a music pastor, and Ashley walked away wanting to assist the position. Both knew each other in college, but Derrick, having terrible first impressions, thought she was annoying and fake, and Ashley thought Derrick was dull and uninteresting. Then came River of Life in Cold Spring, MN. Derrick eventually became the Worship Pastor, and Ashley became the Executive Assistant to Pastor Denny. This eventually became Denny's ultimate plan to bring us together. The man know what he is doing! We were working on a late project and Derrick was expecting to work overnight to get it done, and that's when Ashley told Derrick, "well, I have nothing going on, so I can help," and that is when Derrick knew.
