When should I RSVP by?

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Attire for this event is semi-formal (please no denim). We encourage you to take this opportunity to dress up and wear that fancy dress or nice suit you haven't had a chance to wear yet! Wear whatever color you'd like, but please NO WHITE. Women are encouraged to wear flowy gowns or dresses or dressy jumpsuits. Men are encouraged to wear casual suits or nice slacks with collard shirts. (See 'Guest Attire' page)

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held in our backyard. Parking is available at a park-and-ride a few minutes from the house with shuttle transportation provided to get you to and from the house. (Address for Park and Ride: 380 W Old Liberty Rd Sykesville MD)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:00pm. Please arrive no later than 3:45pm or you will sadly miss out on our ceremony.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of our ring bearer. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. The house will be available for cocktail hour as well as restroom use.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I Do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! Beer, wine, and cocktails will be offered during the cocktail hour and reception. We will also have non-alcoholic beverages.

Where should I stay for the weekend?

Answer
