It's up to you. We'd love to see you for as much time as we can throughout the weekend, but we understand that work and life happen! Just note that the weekend ferries are busy and sometimes have delays. In addition, Check-in isn't until 4 p.m., so you won't be able to drop bags or get ready in your room. As of now, we are planning to have a welcome reception on Friday for all guests who arrive early. This will follow the rehearsal dinner at Shipwreck beach. We would love to see you pop by for a drink and to say hello.
Yes. Ferries are beautiful. But they aren't reliable and are currently running on reduced schedules as a result of COVID. We absolutely recommend you make a reservation. You won't regret it. According to the Ferry website, reservations for the weekend of our wedding should be available beginning March 9th.
Of course! Explore, enjoy! Just please plan for your own transportation.
Great question and it will probably change between the time of us writing this and the ceremony, but here goes... As of now, we are almost back to the "original" wedding we had always planned! The rehearsal dinner/welcome reception, the ceremony and cocktail hour are all outside, which means there are no restrictions for those who are vaccinated and masks are not required. Masks are also not required when eating or drinking or seated at your table during the reception. In addition, we can now have dancing!! With the guidance change two weeks ago, we are now back to being able to dance, which, if you know us - we are pretty pumped about :) - Please reach out with questions!!
