New Year and new beginnings. Our first date was a run at Discovery Park the morning of New Year's Day 2015 followed by coffee. So began a journey of love built on impulse adventures, soaking up the outdoors and finding ourselves feeling at home with one another, no matter where we're at.

Greg recommended a late-fall hike to the top of Mt. Pilchuck. Derek said yes and packed a backpack. So did Greg, but his included rings and a bottle of champagne. Derek again said yes. The rest is the start of forever.
