Our favorite ramen spot in LA. Cash only so don't forget to stop by the ATM. Go early as the lines can get long! If the lines are too long, visit Marugame Udon directly accross the street.
Noma
This is our forever Valentine's Day spot. Sit at the sushi bar, and make sure to order the salmon belly and yellowtail belly sushi.
SUGARFISH
Omakase sushi experience for a fraction of the cost. There are several Sugarfish locations throughout LA, all of which can have long lines (it's that good). So get there early, order the Trust Me or Nozawa, and don't hold back on adding the bomb albacore belly.
Fritto Misto
Our favorite Italian spot! Family run, HUGE portions, and a very low wine corkage fee. You can create your own pasta combination as well. Our favorites include black & white spaghettini with the gorgonzola walnut sauce. Order the Pillows!

You're in LA, you have to get some tacos! Guisados is famous for their handmade tortillas with 10+ taco options.

If you want to stay central, Santa Monica Beach is a great option. Want to do some people watching, make your way to Venice Beach. Want to ride the waves, make your way north to Malibu. The weather in October is still pretty warm so don't forget to pack your swimsuits!
