What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire, please. Think cocktail dresses, little black dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. Just make sure you can comfortably dance the night away with us!

I hear LA traffic is bad, how long will my commute be to the ceremony / reception?

Answer

LA traffic is the worst. Here are some mile markers with estimated times to help you plan: 5 miles from downtown LA = 30 minute commute 15 miles from downtown LA = 60 minute commute +15 miles from downtown LA = 80 - 90 minute commute Bottom line, plan to leave even earlier than you think you should. Thanks for braving the crazy traffic to be with us!

What time should I arrive?

We kindly ask that you arrive no later than 3:15 PM. There is only 1 elevator in the Hudson Lofts, so there might be a short line to make it up to the 4th floor.

Where is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We will be getting married at the Hudson Lofts in downtown Los Angeles (see "Schedule" page for address details). The entrance is on Hope Street, where you can then take the elevator to the 4th floor where all of the festivities will be held.

What's the parking situation?

Answer

You're in luck! There are several parking lots immediately surrounding the venue. Here are the lots we found to be the best in the area (we'll continue to update this closer to the wedding): - Outdoor lot on the northwest corner of Hope & 12th Street. This is directly diagonal to the venue. - Outdoor lot on the southwest corner of Hope & Pico Street. 1 block from the venue. Best to bring cash in case the lot does not accept credit cards!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We have a fantastic photographer booked, who will capture these sweet moments for all of us! We've also booked a photobooth for you to enjoy during cocktail hour and the reception.

Can I bring a guest?

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Will food and drinks be served?

You bet! Just bring yourself, your dancing shoes, and we'll take care of the rest!
