Acropolis
Summer hours are 8 AM to 6 PM (Last entrance at 5.30 PM) Due to the heat in August, the best times to visit are early in the morning or late afternoon. In the event of extreme heat, the Acropolis may be closed during mid-day hours. Tickets can be purchased below
Acropolis Museum
Just under a 10 minute walk from the Acropolis to the museum and worth the visit! Tickets can be purchased at the museum or online below
Panathenaic Stadium
Walking distance from the Acropolis, opportunity to visit an ancient sports stadium
Changing of the Guard
If you are at Syntagma Square, be sure to watch the changing of the guard ceremony, which occurs every hour on the hour. If you are heading to the Acropolis from Syntagma square, walk through the National Gardens to see additional ancient sites

Mikrolimano
Mikrolimano is a picturesque marina located in Piraeus, some fifteen kilometers south of Athens. It is renowned for its pleasant setting and excellent fish restaurants with seafront terraces. The picturesque little houses, the sea view, the fishermen and their boats and the smell of fresh fish and seafood give the place a special charm. Mikrolimano, the “little port” of Piraeus: a place to enjoy relaxation and fish restaurants. Its biggest draw is the Michelin-starred Varoulko Seaside, presided over by celebrity chef Lefteris Lazarou.
