Dress code for the wedding is formal garden party. We recommend a suit and tie for cocktail-like attire. Long or short dresses are welcome. Have fun playing with colors and prints - show us your best looks! Please no jeans, khakis, shorts, t shirts, flip flops or sneakers.
Colorado weather can be quite variable. Temperature will typically range from 60-80 degrees F. While we hope for a sunny day, there are often short bursts of rain. We advise packing layers, as evenings often get quite chilly!
All wedding day events on 9/5/2026 are taking place at Cheyenne Mountain Resort. There will be signs and ushers to guide wedding guests to the appropriate locations for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception.
The ceremony will be at Cheyenne Mountain Resort outside on the Tava Green, pending weather. Shuttles from the lobby will take guests to the ceremony. Cocktail hour will be on the Mountainview Terrace; shuttles will take guests back up to the main lobby for cocktail hour. The reception will be held indoors in the Colorado Ballroom. This is downstairs from the Terrace.
Our officiant will remind extended family members to stay for pictures, while other guests will either walk or take shuttles back up to the resort lobby to enjoy cocktail hour on the Mountainview Terrace.
Yes!! Pending your arrival, please join our welcome event at Garden of the Gods Resort on Friday (9/4/26) evening from 8-10PM. There will be light snacks and drinks provided. Shuttles from the hotel blocks will be coordinated for guests to be brought to the welcome event.
Only wedding party members are invited to the rehearsal dinner. All other guests may joint us afterward from 8-10PM for welcome drinks at Garden of the Gods Resort.
Find your way to Cheyenne Mountain Resort via organized shuttles or uber. There is also parking available for anyone with a rental car. At the resort lobby, shuttle services will bring wedding guests to the ceremony location. Please make sure to get to the lobby around 3PM so that shuttles can bring all guests down for the ceremony to start on time at 3:30PM!
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. Please let us know if you do plan on traveling with your children, so we can help coordinate child care at the venue!
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. While gifts are not expected, we have registered for a few items we need for our home. A link to our wedding registries at Williams Sonoma & Crate and Barrel can be found on the registry tab of our website.
Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift in itself — physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry, however, any items on the list can be shipped directly to our home address.
Transportation will be provided to and from all wedding weekend events.
