It all started back in the early 2010s. Adam was the funniest, dreamiest drummer and band president (twice), football star, and track runner and Nicole was the smartest funniest most beautiful flautist that ever graced the front row of the wind ensemble. Though they both admired each other over the years, it wasn't until both had graduated college and started their journey into medicine that they really found each other. Brought together after a fateful holiday party, where Nicole's coworker was (and still is!) dating one of Adam's closest friends, Nicole and Adam went out for breakfast to reconnect. The connection was instant, but Adam's life in Mississippi for medical school resulted in a long distance start to the relationship. Nicole moved a little closer, while she was in PA school in North Carolina. Still, they persevered. After four years, Adam & Nicole finally moved in together in Albany NY where Adam had started his residency. After finishing residency, the couple decided it was time to take their future into their own hands! Finally, they were able to choose where they wanted to live - and landed on Colorado Springs, Colorado. With their two cats, Shadow and Freya (RIP Tonky), Adam and Nicole headed out west and are now very happily living in Colorado. They are both working their dream jobs, and spending their free time hiking, exploring the area, and picking up some fun new hobbies. Shortly after celebrating their 7 year anniversary, Adam proposed to Nicole in Garden of the Gods park. Here, he said, they could continue to return to and recall the years of adventures they had taken together, and the many more to come!
