Akumal Bay Beach & Spa Resort is an intimate all-inclusive resort located between Tulum and Playa del Carmen. This family friendly resort offers almost a mile of white sandy powder beach with world-class snorkeling with sea turtles and top diving with a great variety of life that thrives within the live coral reef just steps from our guest room. For those of you that prefer pools, each of the four buildings have a dedicated pool area so you never have to go far to soak up the sun! All of the rooms at Akumal Bay Beach & Spa Resort are ocean facing with either a balcony or patio to enjoy the beautiful ocean breeze. PLEASE NOTE: The hotel is being rebranded currently, so you may see the hotel referred to as Akumal Bay Beach & Wellness Resort, as well. These are the same resorts.
Travel Note
If you are not booking your transportation through our travel agent, then you may be overwhelmed with the number (and cost) of transportation from the Cancun airport to the resort. We have done some research and found that Kalido Travel is typically the most economical with a price around $165 for a private transfer of up to 4 people (with the option for more people at an additional cost). We've traveled with Kalido Travel before, and they were on time, friendly, and provided a comfortable ride to the resort!
