At times, he is the quietest person in the room and for some, they may take that offensively, but he's a people watcher. He's sweet, warm, & the kindest person you may know. When he is comfortable, he's planning something from a new creative venture such as carpentry or a new practical joke to play on those he loves. He is so loving & generous that at times this has been his weakness & caused pain in his life. One trait we share is how we are loyal and protective of those we love. We both wish we could make a better life for our loved ones who hurt. He is the one person i can trust more than anything, except when he is driving like a maniac. 😄 His faith in God, Love & Family is inspirational. He is hardworking, sensitive, logical & is the most loving Daddy to our little girl.

Laura is my sister in law. I have so much respect and admiration for her as a wife and mother. Over the years she has become the "protector" of our little family and I often seek advice from her. She has a way of keeping me calm when I'm on the edge and helping me see things from a different perspective. Having her by my side on our big day means the world to me.

Steven is Mike's older brother, and just as I feel toward Laura, Mike holds Steven in the upmost respect and honor. He has helped guide Mike in his journey to be an upstanding christian husband and father, and we admire him in so many ways. Mike couldn't ask for a better role model and best man by his side.
Amanda Denton

Amanda (aka Mandii) was the first person in the Denton family Mike introduced me to. I remember him telling me she was the most easy going of the family and if she accepted me, everyone else would too. I was intimidated at first, but quickly warmed up to her. She has always brought a sense of comfort, kindness and warmth that makes our times together memorable and fun. She is a favorite with all her nieces and nephews whom she loves to play with and spoil.

Jeremy is Mike's younger brother and another role model as a strong christian husband & father for mike. He and mike share a lot of similarities in appearance so close that Alaina had trouble telling them apart until recently. His fun-loving personality is a trait that is deeply loved by his family, especially his nieces and nephews.

Our biggest blessing is our daughter, Alaina Joy. Every day is a new wonder with her. She came into this world 9 weeks early, at her own terms, and has shown the world her strength since day one. She is sweet, funny, energetic, empathetic, and at times wise beyond her years. Her name means "precious" and there is no other way than that to describe her in our lives. She has a natural ability to bring a smile to everyone's faces and lights up a room every time she walks in. She's my saving grace and the Joy of my life. She also thinks she's marrying Daddy, not Mommy. 😄
Jacob White
Ring Bearer
Jacob is my nephew & Alaina's best friend.Our time together is always spent doing fun things such as playing with play-doh, playing with action figures, reading books, playing with board games, swimming, and even playing hide & seek. He has always been extremely intelligent for his age and will sometimes outsmart the best of us. He loves making others laugh, and once he sees you crack a smile you can see the warmth go straight to his heart. He and alaina love music which leads to frequent dance parties in our living room. I'm sure he will be the first one to grab his Aunt Christina for a dance at the reception. 😁

Brother of the Bride/Usher
When I was a little girl, I always dreamed of my Papaw (Combs) giving me away when I got married. In 2003 he passed away from pancreatic cancer. Losing him was one of the most difficult times of my life, but i grew from his loss. Since then, I have only been able to envision my brother taking on that responsibility. Words cannot describe how much I adore and look up to my brother. In so many ways I can only describe him with two words....my hero. He is strong, intelligent, hardworking, caring, and the only person who can make me laugh until i literally pee my pants! Seriously, He's the type of brother who will lock or block the bathroom door so i can't get in while making me laugh at the same time. He loves to aggravate me until i cry, but I'm the sister who wouldn't have it any other way.

No words can express what my mom means to me. She is my rock, and i am hers. I know this day will be full of tears from both of us, but they will be happy tears. I remember from the time i first introduced her to Mike, she has always said "he is the one you will end up marrying". I never believed her. I fought my feelings for him back in 2012 out of fear of being hurt. She told me to have faith and here we are....on the day she predicted would happen. This goes to show, momma knows best! It is because of her that mike and i are together now and i didn't let my fears overcome. So mom, thank you. I know you're reading this, and i know you're probably crying. But please remember, you're not letting your baby girl go, you're just gaining more family and a lot more love. ☺

The Lord has blessed me with a truly inspirational mother-in-law. I know you have been through many life experiences that, like myself, you have used them as ways to grow. I have always felt we have had many things in common from our talks over the last 5 years. You have shared your family history and many stories of the past that have made me feel so bonded with you, Mike, and now even more with Alaina. I admire your grace, courage, and your faith in God. I pray our marriage is what you have prayed for Mike to have and to be as strong and loving of a mother & wife you have hoped me to be.

Mike & I met Bob when we moved to Decatur township in 2016. My brother and sister-in-law invited us to attend church with them and we didn't hesitate to say yes. After the second sunday at Valley Mills we were very surprised that the staff & pastor Bob remembered our names with it being a much larger church than we were used to. We have felt so comfortable attending Valley Mills and even joined Bob's lifegroup on thursday nights. Bob has not only shown a great friendship but has guided us in our journey with bringing our relationship and family closer to Christ. Bob, from the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your acceptance, friendship, and guidance.
