Flight
Sonoma is accessible through a few airports but San Francisco (SFO) is the most accessible. You could go to Oakland (OAK) or San Jose (SJC) as well. Sonoma is a one hour drive from SFO and OAK. We recommend taking the the route over the Golden Gate Bridge on your way there, but take the Oakland bridge on your way back to the airport to avoid a very high toll!
Rental Car
There is an abundance of rental car options from all airports, we're including SFO since that's the most commonly used airport.
House Or Rental
Inns and high end hotels dominate the Sonoma and Napa area and there's hardly a time of the year that wine country isn't busy. We've found some better luck booking house rentals than hotels through either AirBNB or VRBO that are more economical. We recommend you look in Sonoma or Glen Ellen. Santa Rosa is another great option with a charming downtown, if you don't mind the 20-30 minute drive away.
Hotel
Unfortunately we do not have a hotel block secure as all the pricing was coming in higher than anyone can book a hotel on their own. We recommend you use a fare aggregator like Kayak.com, expedia.com, travelocity.com, booking.com, etc to search rooms. Sonoma and Glen Ellen will be the closest to the weekend wedding locations. Other options that may be less expensive, but a little further away are Santa Rosa or Petaluma. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us for guidance or help!
