Buffalo
Buffalo is a vibrant waterfront city that finds its way to many "best places to visit" lists these days. With its midwestern feel and east coast amenities, we often describe it at the biggest small town in America. If you're new to Buffalo, we can't wait to share it with you!
Niagara Falls - USA and Canada
Niagara Falls is less than 30 minutes from Buffalo. The US side has nice park areas, but the Canadian side is better for the area/restaurants, etc. You'll need a passport, NEXUS card, or enhanced license to cross the US/Canada border by car or foot. Do the Maid of the Mist or the Jetboats from either side.
Niagara-on-the-Lake - Ontario, Canada
Niagara on the lake is a beautiful, quaint town just 40 minutes from Buffalo. It has a European feel with great restaurants, park areas, and a vibrant wine culture with vineyards and tasting rooms in abundance. This is a great day trip from Buffalo.

Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House
This is one of two Frank Lloyd Wright houses in the Buffalo area, just a few miles from our house. You can also check out his summer home, Graycliff on Lake Erie.
