Yes, we are happy to have a venue that can accommodate those that may need help getting around. Weather permitting, our ceremony will take place outside in a wooded setting, just a short walk from the barn. The path is level, but has some uneven surfaces, so stiletto heels are not recommended. There will be a golf cart available to take individuals to the ceremony site who can't easily make the walk.
If the weather cooperates, the ceremony will be held outdoors in a wooded setting. Good weather will also allow the reception to spill out of the barn so we can enjoy the farm and there will be bonfires, cornhole, etc. outside. In the event of rain, we will have the barn for cover and we will also have have a tent set up. This will allow us to keep everyone out of the elements.
Kin Loch has space for parking 50-60 cars. Parking on the road is discouraged for safety reasons. While we expect there to be plenty of parking, we are encouraging guests to car pool, use a car service, and/or use ride sharing when possible. We want everyone to be safe, so please don't drink and drive. We also plan to have a shuttle from a spot in Buffalo to Kin Loch and back (with potentially a stop at an after party site - still working on this) if there is enough interest. If this is something you think you might want to do, please let us know.
The DJ will wrap up and last call will be at 10 pm so that we can all depart Kin Loch by 11 pm. An after party will be held at .... (more information to come).
We are so fortunate to have large and loving families and friends. Our venue is limited in size, however, and as a result, we've made the decision to have an adults only ceremony and reception. We hope this will allow you all to come and enjoy yourselves. Please reach out to Joyce if there is something we can do to help you with alternate plans for your adorable kiddos that evening.
