Steamship Authority Ferry from Woods Hole, MA
The easiest and most affordable way to get on-island is the Steamship Authority ferry, which runs multiple ferries every day from Woods Hole, Massachusetts. The Steamship Authority is also the only way to get a car on-island, so if that's your plan remember to book early! It is about $17 round-trip for passengers (no reservation required!) and $137 roundtrip per car (reservations DEFINITELY required). Reservations open in January 2020 and book up quickly so we advise making a reservation as soon as possible. The journey time is 45 minutes.

Falmouth-Edgartown Ferry
This passenger ferry goes directly in to Edgartown Harbour - walking distance from many hotels and where the weekend's events will be centered. Reservations are encouraged, but not required. There is valet parking available from the ferry terminal in Falmouth where you can leave your car for the weekend. The journey time is 1 hour.

Rhode Island Fast Ferry
This passenger only fast-ferry leaves from Quonset, Rhode Island. There is a parking lot available to leave your car at the ferry terminal. The journey time is 1 hour and 45 minutes.

This picturesque hotel in Edgartown overlooks the lighthouse. It is a larger hotel with more amenities including a pool and restaurants. It is very easy walking distance to both Fuller Street Beach and the heart of town.

Buses run from NYC to Woods Hole and from Boston (Logan Airport or South Station) to Woods Hole. Both options drop you off directly at the Steamship Authority ferry.
