We’re getting married!

We dated in high school for a short period of time…twice. Long story short, we rekindled in December of 2020 (what a year!). From wearing masks and barely going anywhere, to being mask-free and enjoying life again - it’s been quite the journey for us! We rekindled our relationship after a simple text of ‘happy birthday,’ after we hadn’t spoken in years. You could say the rest is history, but it’s just beginning for us! We moved from Rockford, IL where our families are from, to Geneva IL, where we continued our journey! We have been living in Geneva since 2021, and have absolutely fallen in love with the area. We also rescued two kittens (Lilo & Stitch, siblings) on a random Wednesday in March of 2022; they have been with us ever since. Lilo and Stitch have been our little buddies through all of our life changes. Dennis’ mom, Jackie, had planned for his family and Liv to venture off to Disney World in Florida for a week in August of 2023. Liv had not been to Disney since she was 6 years old, and was ecstatic to revisit and vacation there. During that vacation, Dennis proposed to Liv on a pathway to Cinderella’s castle. Can you say magical? Needless to say, it was pure magic. Liv, not the hardest person to surprise, was absolutely stunned. She was not expecting a proposal at the most magical place on Earth; to say the least. We think you get the rest… she said YES! We cannot express the gratitude we have for our families for the outpouring of support, love and encouragement throughout our relationship. We have all grown to love one another as true family members. Dennis and Sam might have a bro-mance. 😉 We can’t wait to celebrate with you on our special day! Love, Liv and Dennis
