It was a set up... We met on a blind date, through a mutual friend. She's known Vincent since he was one year old and thought we would be a perfect match from day one. Well, she was right. She told Vincent about me and he asked for my number. We spoke for over an hour during our first phone call. If you know either of us well, you should know that a one hour conversation with a stranger is not something we otherwise willingly enjoy doing, so we knew we were on to something when we hung up that night. We decided to meet a few days later at the Vintage Cafe in Uptown Whittier. It was a true blind date. Again, not in our nature, but we were both excited to continue the conversations we had throughout the week. That night, we shut down the restaurant and walked aimlessly around town until we found another spot to continue our date. We were among the last to leave Uptown and have been inseparable ever since. Fast forward a couple of years later, and we were officially engaged. How it happened is just too amazing to be anything other than fate, and we are so grateful to have found each other.
