You may not think “hiking” when you think of Florida, but the Grassy Waters Preserve — a wetland ecosystem that supplies fresh water to the inhabitants of West Palm Beach — actually dishes up a handful of noteworthy walks. Besides spotting a few locals (read: lizards, gators, birds, and the like) and learning about the environment, you can also go on a guided tour or take part in their wildlife programs.
