We are getting married!

Eric and Denéa first crossed paths March 2020 in Ocean Beach, thanks to mutual friends. Their friendship quickly deepened; Eric helped Denéa move into her first apartment and eventually moved in with her after a year of dating. They had their first official date on August 30, 2020, at Kate Sessions Park, enjoying a picnic and each other’s company. From friends to “Covid Baes,” their relationship blossomed, leading them to make things official later that year. Early on, they became an integral part of each other’s families, enjoying a strong support system. On December 8, 2023, after a routine day of chores, Eric proposed at their favorite spot, Torrey Pines Beach in La Jolla. As they approach five years together, they’re excited to save for their own home, start a family, and explore the world together.
