Maddy and Ashlyn met in 2018 working in the (now defunct) box office department at the New England Aquarium. What started as a friendly colleagueship between coworkers slipped into a playful rivalry, then to an all out nemesis situation. As Tyler has said of their contempt for one another, “you know when a joke goes on for TOO long?” After many long days at work and long nights out in Salem, Maddy is happy to call Ashlyn both a great friend and worst enemy and cannot wait to celebrate her and Tyler!

Amanda and Ashlyn met in 2018 in the crazy online world of the Boston rental market. Since then, Amanda has suffered through living with Ashlyn for four years and Tyler for two. And, as if that wasn’t enough, she also works with Tyler. Her favorite activities are reading, binging TV and forcing Ashlyn to watch horror movies.

Hi, I’m Sadie! Ashlyn and I met as 6th graders in the halls of Lexington Middle School. Little did I know, I had met a future college roommate, bridesmaid, and life-long friend. There is nobody else I would rather share my love of crazy housewives and dreamy Backstreet Boys with!
Sam Linde

Sam and Ashlyn met in 2017 while they were both interns for the New England Aquarium Whale Watch. They discovered they took the same train and lived not far from each other on their way to an outing once, and the friendship took off from there. There were a lot of fun memories made, but perhaps the most memorable was Ashlyn accidentally bringing Sam on her and Tyler's first date.
Mackenzie Meier

Ashlyn and Kenzie met as whale watch interns for the New England Aquarium in 2017. They immediately bonded over whales of course, but also- the 3 B's- boats, baseball, and brunch. The two even spent some quality quarantine time together in 2020, drinking daiquiris and bird watching on Ashlyn's back porch. Kenzie has lived across New England, from Maine to Mass, before moving to the UK in early 2022 to start a Masters at the University of Bristol. She studies bottlenose dolphin communication in a cooperative context. Will talk about sailing, traveling, and hiking for hours.
Chelsi Napoli

Chelsi is thrilled to be part of Ashlyn's bridal party! She met Ashlyn when they were both interns on the New England Aquarium whale watch in 2017, where they bonded over niche whale watch problems and the love of an alarmingly wide, pregnant whale named Dross. Along with Sam and Mackenzie, they clicked as friends through frozen margaritas at Border Cafe (rest in peace) and Chelsi's first Red Sox game at Fenway. Chelsi now resides on Long Island, NY as a Ph.D. student but eagerly returns to Massachusetts whenever she can to join Ashlyn on whale watching (or shark-watching!) trips and to hear the latest on her bird sightings!

Steve and Tyler first met as roommates in college. Right away, they knew they'd be best friends. The two have shared so many memories together; from fixing their dorm room wall with toothpaste, to dealing with a crazy landlord in Malden for two years, to the many nights out in Boston. Steve is honored to have a part in his big day as his best man.
Austin Brown

My name is Austin, I am a graduate from Suffolk University with a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics. I currently work in Lowell as a development representative for a start up in the commercial solar industry. I’m a huge sports fan, but soccer is by far my favorite, and weekends are usually spent golfing or watching the games that are on. I met Tyler at college and we became friends pretty quick, as he and our friend Steve lived across the hall from me. We hung out quite a bit through our first year at Suffolk and made a lot of good memories, and in fact I remember Tyler being quite the carpenter. It was towards the end of the school year and he had to fix a hole in his wall, I got back to the dorms and our floor smelled like mint. I come to find out it was Tyler blow drying toothpaste that he shoved into the hole in his wall, and to this day the university has never noticed.
Jimmy DeMilia

Jimmy DeMilia is the bride's brother. He works for the Parks and Recreation Department of Fort Myers Beach, Florida. His favorite memory of Tyler was when they first met. Jimmy was traveling alone for the first time and came to Mass to see his sister, and Tyler was supposed to meet him since Ashlyn was working. He remembers getting off of the plane and taking the train into Boston wandering around the city texting this stranger about where to meet up. They eventually met and went to get food from a sandwich shop in the North End, which was the start of a great trip. It was a cool way to meet his future brother-in-law. Jimmy recently completed his Master's Degree in Business Administration and Sports Management. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports and video games, and is a big supporter of Boston sports teams.
Dan Denaro

Dan is a full time manager in the Visitor Services department at the New England Aquarium and a part time diver in the Giant Ocean Tank. He loves all things sports and ocean, and is good for a laugh from time to time. He met Ashlyn not too long after he started at the aquarium nearly 5 years ago, where she was originally introduced to him as Allison- not the expected start for such a long-standing friendship. As they worked their ways up the aquarium ranks, they became inseparable partners in crime. If you've visited over the past few years, you may have seen them wandering Central Wharf together, turning every one person job into a two person job. Once Ashlyn introduced Dan to Tyler, it was all over. After a night out in Salem, Dan was expecting to leave early in the morning- Tyler had other plans. Ashlyn was surprised as she docked from a long day at work to see Dan and Tyler greeting her from The Landing. Dan started off as a part of Ashlyn's life but has found himself happily close with both of them.
Mira Kelly-Fair

Known to the groom as Merpa, this is a newly blossomed friendship. Mira is Ashlyn’s coworker on the whale watch which led to her first fortuitous meeting with Tyler. Soon they were texting and chatting about his fave subjects: Ashlyn and tattoos. Being from away, Tyler instructed Mira in her first consumption of oysters. She now knows that she likes them with a just a little bit of hot sauce but still doesn’t know how to shuck her own. Mira loves spending time with Tyler and Ashlyn both as a couple and one on one. That’s how she knows this’ll last; these two are great with and without the sauce and no shucking required.”
Nico Sarkis

Tyler and Nico met back in grammar school at St. Mary’s and have been friends ever since. Nico works in finance out in Boston and love to workout. After a couple cold beers you can find him attempting to tear up a dance floor.
Cory Walton

My name is Cory Walton, and I currently I work for my fathers excavation and sewer/drain cleaning business. I've known Tyler since our freshman year of high school, where we had a lot of classes together. Tyler being a class clown meant we were usually getting in trouble for talking or laughing too much. Some of our best class room memories were getting told we'd end up working at a McDonald's because we didn't pay attention in physics class, and watching Billy Madison during creative writing. We also played lacrosse together, and being the benchwarmers Tyler and I had to stick together... Even on our senior night we still barely played but we managed to make the best of it. Outside of school we continued to raise hell by racing demo cars at my family farm, and having parties at my parents house.
