Hampton Inn Morganton

This hotel is right off the highway and a 15 minute drive on some back roads to the vineyard. We do have a block here but it is full! You can still book at the hotel, however, and this is our PREFERRED place you stay.

Shuttle

Trolley

We will be providing transportation from the hotel to the venue and back at the end of the night to avoid drinking and driving. We have coordinated times for the shuttle (due to limited space) and you will receive your shuttle time at check in at the hotel. If you choose to drive to the venue, there is plenty of parking-please enter at the correct entrance, labeled “Pavilion at Silver Fork”, which is the 2nd entrance on the left (or first on the right depending on which way you come). The opposite entrance will take you to the winery and you will have to walk downhill to get to the venue. The venue is on backroads and we would prefer guests use the trolley back to the Hampton Inn if you are drinking. You may leave your car overnight if you drive and use the trolley to get home. The trolley will be parked at the venue all night so if you need to leave early, you can ride back at any time. Uber is scarce in this area so please do not rely on ride-share services for transportation.

Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Morganton Historic Distict

We do not have a hotel block here but it is the second hotel we recommend staying. It is a beautiful, brand new hotel only 5 minutes from the Hampton Inn. Currently, we prefer you to book at the Hampton Inn first.

Flight

Charlotte Douglas Airport

The best place to fly into is the Charlotte Douglas Airport, located on the west side of Charlotte. There are a ton of hotels and places to stay in Charlotte and then it is about a 90 minute drive to our venue, Silver Fork Winery. There are many other airports you may choose to fly into, though the flights might be more expensive. You will most likely need to rent a car if you are flying in.

We have not made a group reservation with any car rental companies but there are multiple options through CLT airport, Avis/Budget being one of them. If you choose to make a reservation with other guests, group discount rates are available.

This is the third hotel in the area where we would recommend booking. We do not have a hotel block or discount here.
