No, Ladera is an adults only resort (minimum age 18).

Can I stay at another resort or Airbnb in St. Lucia and just come to Ladera for the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately due to current COVID-19 restrictions in St. Lucia, only guests who are staying at Ladera Resort are allowed on property.

Is the resort all inclusive?

Answer

Full breakfast is included with all reservations (and the breakfast selection is spectacular). Otherwise drinks, lunch, and dinner are a la carte. If you would like to purchase additional included meals, please see the options at https://www.ladera.com/meal-plans.html.

What is the weather like in St. Lucia in October?

Answer

Average highs 85 and average lows 79. It rains almost every day, but usually only in about 5 minute spurts, so don't fear if you see the forecast saying rain every day. This means LOTS of rainbows! We saw 5 in one day there last year!

Will the ceremony/reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors with a covered roof top. Plan for around 80 degree weather. The reception will be in an air conditioned private room above the spa.

What is the currency in St. Lucia? Do I need to exchange my money?

Answer

St. Lucia uses Eastern Caribbean (EC) dollars. 1 EC dollar = 0.37 US dollar. No need to exchange currency- everywhere you go will accept US dollars!

Is there WiFi at the resort?

Answer

Yes, free WiFi is included. Each room also comes with a local cell phone to make free local calls while at the resort, with speed dial for the reception, concierge, and room service.

What is included in the rooms?

Answer

The resort does provide each suite with insect repellent, 2 yoga mats, a hair dryer, bath robes, and large umbrellas, so you can leave those items behind! The outlets in the rooms are standard US 120V (no converters needed). 2 complimentary large water bottles provided to each room per day.

What are the current COVID-19 protocols for traveling to and from St. Lucia?

Answer

As of 5/30/21, REGARDLESS OF VACCINATION STATUS: proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours of departure is required for entry back into the US. Ladera will take care of this without charge for all guests staying a minimum of 4 nights. In addition, a negative COVID PCR test in the US within 5 DAYS of the trip is also required for ENTRY into St. Lucia. There are several places offering free testing (we went to Rite Aid last time). What do I need to complete ahead of time/bring with me in terms of COVID-19 requirements?

All travelers must download, complete, and print the Health Screening Form found at https://www.stlucia.org/en/covid-19/ All travelers must also fill out the Travel Authorization form online at https://travelslu.govt.lc. Upon completion (which includes uploading your negative PCR test results), you will receive a confirmation email from the St. Lucia travel authority. Print and bring this and your PCR test results with you. Here is everything you need to have printed/bring with you on your flight: 1. Proof of negative COVID-19 PCR showing your name, birthdate, test date, type of test and the method of testing, the result 2. CDC vaccination card with your personal vaccine record (if vaccinated) 3. Travel Authorization Form confirmation email 4. Hotel confirmation
