Explore The Falls & Canada

The Wedding Website of Valerie DeLorenzo and Nicholas Johnson
I took this picture of the Falls from the Maid of the Mist when we took Luna on for her first ride! We had so much fun because we were all together!
Maid of the Mist

Maid of the Mist

1 Prospect Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303
, (716) 284-8897

Since October weather will be on the colder side, keep in mind the water will be too and you WILL GET SOAKED on the Maid of the Mist but it is worth it!! The Maid of the Mist is one of the most beautiful ways to see Niagara Falls and experience them-right on the water up close and personal-you can actually feel the Mighty Niagara move the boat! You will be given ponchos when you arrive and they have an enclosed upstairs area if the weather and water is too cold or severe.

Clifton Hill

Clifton Hill

Clifton Hill, Niagara Falls, ON L2G, Canada

If you’re thinking about walking or driving across the border into Canada, Clifton Hill is a must-see! Just be sure to bring your passport!! If you can walk, I suggest you do because a walk over the Rainbow Bridge is the perfect way to see the Niagara Gorge and both the American and Canadian Falls and it's only about five minutes from the hotel. If you plan to cross into Canada, we recommend using a debit or credit card for purchases-most places do not accept Cash App, Venmo, or Apple Pay unless it’s connected to a debit or credit card through your Apple Wallet. Using your card makes currency conversion simple and automatic. If you prefer to use cash, be sure to exchange your money first! The Duty Free store is located just after you exit customs and offers currency exchange. Keep in mind that the Canadian dollar is lower in value than the U.S. dollar, so be sure to make that exchange first of you don't miss out not the added value!

Niagara-On-The-Lake

Niagara-On-The-Lake

Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON, Canada

Niagara-On-The-Lake is one of the most beautiful places to not only visit, but to also learn some amazing History about Canada and the surrounding area! This little village is a must see with waterfront view's and lush boulevard gardens. Tons of things to do and see, wander through the Heritage District and discover whimsical boutiques, enthralling antique shops and delightful bistros. Make sure to check out their Christmas Store - it's the cutest- and also get some Canadian Maple Syrup and Jams!! And don't forget the coffee- eh?
