Wedding Party

Emily Delmont

Bride

If you haven’t had the pleasure of getting to know me, or if it’s hard to keep track of my whereabouts, here’s a bit about me! I met Isaac in high school in Arizona, where we delivered the performance of a lifetime as an old married couple in a murder-mystery play. We did long-distance for a year after I went off to San Diego for college. A year later, Isaac graduated high school (in the middle of a pandemic), and I dragged him to PLNU with me. I studied Applied Health Science with a pre-med track and spent my free time exploring San Diego, surfing, and going to concerts. We spent a lot of our time in the PLNU Concert Choir, where we met some of the best people EVER (you might spot a few of them here) and went on adventures around the world. I graduated in 2023 and worked as an ophthalmic technician for a year. During that time, I also went through multiple surgeries and a lot of occupational therapy after injuring my arm and hand in a car accident. Thankfully, I had some of the best nurses—shoutout to Isaac, my mom, and Meghan! After years of hard work and MANY prayers, I’m thrilled to be in my first year of medical school at Loma Linda University. On top of that, I’m also a proud cat mom to our beautiful, stinky girls, Bonnie & Bagel, AND I get to marry my high school sweetheart! Growing up with Isaac has been the gift of a lifetime—through the growing pains, pandemics, and big changes! I am so excited to finally celebrate our love with all of you!

Isaac Shaw

Groom

Lindsay Delmont

Maid of Honor

Hey Shawtys! I’m Lindsay, Emily’s older sister and first best friend. We grew up together in California, before our parents dragged us out to Arizona; which, as you can tell, would become a huge blessing. I graduated from Arizona State University in 2021 with my Bachelors in Speech and Hearing Science, and moved to Hawai’i that summer to pursue my Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders. I’ve been a Speech-Language Pathologist for two years now and enjoy working with children on the spectrum to improve their communication development. I’ve been honored to be the side kick in many Emily and Isaac stories, and can’t wait to read the next chapter!

Meghan Coley

Maid of Honor

Hi! I’m Meghan, and I’m currently in grad school taking writing classes, teaching my own writing class, and trying to finish my fantasy novel. Emily and I met freshmen year in PLNU’s choir and became close friends pretty much right away. I could tell I’d be pretty joyful and loved in her company and realized she’s the kind of life long friend you keep by your side at all costs. From traveling the world together to enjoying the small joys of being roommates, the time I’ve gotten to spend with Emily is one of the biggest blessings in my life. Partaking in the Emily & Isaac celebration is yet another great blessing!

Julianna Goode

Bridesmaid

Hi! I’m Julianna, and I am currently in my second year of Doctor of Physical therapy school taking classes on physical therapy specialties for patients with cardiopulmonary and neurological disorders and will soon begin a 2-week clinical rotation at a skilled nursing facility. Emily and I met freshmen year at PLNU in our dorm hall and further developed our friendship in concert choir. From roommates, to travel buddies, and everything in between, I could not be more grateful to have Emily in my life. I am honored to stand by the sweetest, funniest, and most joyful person I have every met on what will be the most amazing day of her and Isaac’s life. So excited to celebrate!

Karis Fisher

Bridesmaid

Hi! I’m Karis, and I’m a Systems Administrator for PLNU’s IT department (I promise I’m more interesting than I sound). I met Emily one fateful day my freshman year at college, when a group of us choir kids met up for a bonfire at the beach. I immediately knew I wanted to keep someone like her in my life. In the years of friendship that followed, she has been a part of some of my favorite memories - from exploring cobblestone streets in Montenegro to performing at Carnegie Hall in New York. She’s been my adventure buddy, my confidante, and my dear friend. It is such a gift to celebrate her and Isaac!

Makayla Shaw

Groomswoman

Hello! My name is Makayla and I am currently in my senior year at Paradise Honors High School in Surprise, AZ, and will be graduating in May of 2025. I am part of the Concert Choir and Drama Club, both of which I drew interest in by watching Isaac and Emily preform in and show off incredible talent. I plan on perusing a study in health sciences to eventually become a chiropractor, but plans may change. I am Isaac’s youngest sister and have known Emily since I was in middle school, and have been blessed beyond measure to watch them grow as people and partners since. My first time meeting Emily, Isaac had snuck me into the high school choir room so I had somewhere to be after middle school, and I had singled out Emily and played toss with her keys the whole time. I remember thinking how beautiful and full of fun and joy she was, little did I know she would become my sister in law, but I could not be more excited that she is. Isaac and Emily have gotten through highs and broken bones together, and continue to be an inspiration in my life and people I can always count on for a laugh or support. I’m so grateful for them and excited to see where they go!

Amber Kral

Bridesmaid

Hi, I’m Amber, Emily’s official Momager/ Kris Jenner! I’m born and raised in Arizona and currently work as a Medical Assistant. Emily and I first met in a 6th grade classroom, but our friendship really blossomed during our freshman year of high school. Through coffee runs, Lady Gaga, and harmonizing in the school bathrooms, Emily quickly became one of my nearest and dearest friends. Even with a few hundred miles between us, our bond never left. After watching her and Isaac pretend like they weren’t immediately in love after laying eyes on each other, I truly couldn’t be more excited to see these two beautiful souls get married after all these years! I’m not going to say I called it but like… I kinda totally called it ;)

Emily Ruth Shaw

Groomswoman

Hiii I’m Emily, Isaacs younger sister. I’m currently in my 3rd year at PLNU majoring in Sociology-criminal justice! In my free time I enjoy making art, exploring the outdoors, and photography! I met Emily when I first started High School and quickly grew to know her as a kind, funny, and determined individual who I’m so grateful to call my friend :) I love both Isaac and Emily SO much and I don’t think they could be more perfect for each other. I’m so excited to celebrate with them at the wedding and can’t wait for what the future holds 🫶

Brittney Shaw

Groomswoman

Hello hello! I am Brittney, the groom’s eldest sister. Isaac and I have been always been buds - from building couch forts to soap-making to singing together every car ride. I could not be more proud of my brother, and I am over the moon about welcoming Emily into the Shaw family (and the Bonus Shaw Clan group chat). I remember Isaac and Emily as the blushing high schoolers that just started dating. Time showed that Emily and Isaac are a wonderful fit for each other. For a year or two, I overlapped with Isaac and Emily at PLNU before I graduated in 2021. At present, I am in my third year of dental school at Midwestern University! I live in Phoenix with my wife and 2 cats, and we are excited to move back to San Diego after I graduate in 2026. I am absolutely thrilled to celebrate Isaac and Emily coming together in marriage!
