Sing For Your Seniors is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the joy of music to many thousands of seniors in hospitals, care facilities and living centers in the New York area and beyond. Kristen began volunteering with this organization in 2016 while living in NYC. Working with the elderly has since become a passion of hers.

St. Joseph Catholic Church recently celebrated its 125th anniversary! Michael became a parishioner and regular volunteer upon moving to Norwalk in 2017. Being part of a faith community is incredibly important to both Michael and Kristen. Their hope is to continue to help St. Joseph flourish so that all visitors and parishioners will be welcome to worship for many years to come.

Our first date included a trip to this beloved New York landmark! Visitors can go inside actual apartments to discover how immigrants lived in the 19th and 20th centuries. Along with a glimpse of the past, visitors glean insights from educators who offer historical perspectives that relate to current conversations about immigration.
