Entry Card for Aruba

All travelers must complete Aruba’s Embarkation/Disembarkation (ED) Card before arrival. This is the official customs and immigration form. Use the link below to fill it out. IMPORTANT: This is the ONLY official website, and there is a $22 fee. You can start the application anytime. The government will email you 7 days before your trip to finalize it. Each traveler must complete their own ED card before getting on the plane.

IMPORTANT AIRPORT INFORMATION

When leaving Aruba, you must arrive at the airport 4 hour before your flight. When you depart from Aruba you will go through U.S Customs while in Aruba (not when you land in U.S.). If you do not arrive 4 hours before you will be at risk of missing your flight. If you do not have Global Entry to bypass lines, download the MOBILE PASSPORT CONTROL APP on your phone (LINK BELOW). You can fill out the custom questions prior to getting to the airport and bypass long lines.

Travel Note

Passports

Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after your return from Aruba (U.S. rules). If you need a passport, apply as soon as possible. They cost about $150, are valid for 10 years, and take 8–12 weeks to process. You can apply at your local post office or online. Don’t forget to bring your valid passport to Aruba!

No worries! We created a packing list, so that you don't forget anything.

Customs

Upon arrival in Aruba, you'll go through customs before leaving the airport. This process can take over an hour on weekends, but is quicker on weekdays. When departing from Aruba, you'll go through both U.S. and Aruba customs. This may take 30 minutes on weekdays or up to 1.5 hours on weekends. BE SURE TO ARRIVE EARLY to allow enough time for customs. We recommend arriving 3 hours before your flight.

Travel Note

Currency

Aruba uses the U.S. dollar. There are also numerous ATMs around if needed, American Express, Visa, Mastercard, etc. are accepted widely as well.

Getting Around the Island

All international flights to Aruba land at Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA). The airport offers car rentals through Budget, Enterprise, and National. Taxis are the most convenient and affordable way to get around. A taxi from the airport to the hotel zone costs $35–$45 and takes about 15 minutes. Taxis are available right outside the airport. Note: Aruba does not have Uber. Within the hotel zone, taxi fares range from $10–$30, depending on the distance. Other transportation options in the hotel zone include bikes, ATVs, jeeps, and scooters.
