Is Aruba safe?

Answer

YES! You are definitely NOT confined to your resort/hotel grounds. Aruba is an island that you can, and should explore!!!! The locals are kind, the island is very safe, and tourist friendly.

Question

What do I pack?

Answer

We created a packing list! Go under the 'Important Travel Info' tab to view it.

Question

Am I expected to bring a wedding gift to Aruba?

Answer

Absolutely not! Your presence is the gift!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Your plus one information can be found on your wedding invitation. We are trying to keep our wedding as intimate as possible. While we encourage our friends and family to turn their visit to Aruba into a vacation, the welcome party & wedding are invitation only.

Question

Are children allowed to attend?

Answer

While the wedding is the main event, we hope that you enjoy the rest of the trip and make it your own vacation! You may travel with additional guests and children, but please understand that they cannot attend the welcome party & the wedding. You can access on island babysitting information at Sitters Aruba (https://sittersaruba.com)

Question

What should I expect in Aruba?

Answer

Dushi, year-round sunny weather, dry heat, white-sand beaches, friendly locals, and tasty international cuisine. You will hear the word "Dushi" a lot from locals! Dushi is used to describe food as 'sweet' or 'yummy' tasting, or to indicate that a sensation is good (think of pleasant smells or nice music), but it is also used as a term of endearment for your lover, translated as 'sweetheart' or 'sweety'.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a dinner request?

Answer

Please let Bride & Groom know of any food allergies in your RSVP, so we can properly accommodate.
